Carbon Credit Project Pre-Assessment

Goldstein Carbon holistically analyzes the carbon credit production potential of projects across technical, financial, and regulatory dimensions. By performing eligibility assessments according to international standards, we clarify methodology selection, cost projections, and revenue scenarios.

Carbon Credit Project Pre-Assessment

This service provides a rapid and technical assessment of a project's potential to generate carbon credits. The objective is to clarify the project's compliance with international standards, expected revenue levels, and validation/verification costs in advance.

If you want to determine your project's carbon credit potential and strategically design a carbon credit project plan, this service is essential for you.

  • Project Information Gathering: Annual emission reduction calculations are performed based on information such as sector, technology, capacity, and site data.

  • Compliance Analysis: Methodology screening is conducted according to Gold Standard, VCS/Verra, GCC, and UN mechanisms to select the most suitable standard and methodology. If no compatible methodology exists, "Methodology Development" services are recommended for such projects.

  • Cost and Expense Estimation: Estimated costs for validation, revalidation, verification, monitoring, and registry processes are calculated for the entire crediting period. Projections for potential carbon credit issuance, market price ranges, and annual yield are provided.

  • Feasibility and Roadmap: An eligibility assessment is performed, and the project workflow is defined according to the recommended standard.
