Biochar Project Consultancy
Goldstein Carbon, biochar projelerinin sıfır noktasından başlayarak European Biochar Certificate (EBC) sertifikasyonu ve karbon giderim kredilerinin (CORC / CDR credits) üretilmesine kadar tüm süreci kapsayan entegre danışmanlık hizmeti sunar.

What is Biochar?
Biochar is a carbon rich and highly stable material obtained by pyrolysis of agricultural and organic biomass such as agricultural residues and woody waste at high temperatures in an oxygen free or low oxygen environment. Its key characteristic is its ability to retain the carbon contained in biomass in a stable form for hundreds of years.
Why Is It Important?
1. Carbon Removal
Biochar permanently stores carbon captured from the atmosphere by plants. In this respect, it is recognized as a scientifically proven negative emission technology and forms the basis of carbon removal credits (CDR).
2. Soil Health and Productivity
Biochar increases the soil’s water holding capacity, reduces nutrient losses, supports microbial activity, and improves agricultural productivity in the long term.
3. Waste Management and Circular Economy
By converting agricultural and forestry residues into a value added product, it reduces waste incineration and emissions caused by decomposition.
4. Energy Generation
Electricity and heat can be generated using syngas produced during dry biochar production.

Who Can Produce Biochar?
Biomass and biogas based power generation facilities
These facilities can produce biochar by utilizing existing biomass or biogas resources. Companies that already operate organic waste treatment facilities can integrate pyrolysis technology into their current infrastructure and transform their projects into a value added biochar production model.
Companies with large scale investment needs within the scope of emission reduction
In order to comply with regulations and optimize increasing emission reduction costs, biochar production can be considered a strategic investment tool. This approach contributes to both long term cost control and sustainability targets.
Companies with high volume and regular organic waste disposal requirements
Sectors that continuously generate organic waste, especially agriculture, food processing, and municipal waste management, can improve waste management efficiency through biochar production while simultaneously achieving carbon removal and creating economic value.
